Now this may be difficult to believe but Tony Romo has been flying under-the-radar this Preseason, figuratively speaking. Recently, other NFC East Quarterbacks have stirred the media pot.
- Vince Young (Eagles backup QB) touts the Eagles as “The Dream Team” reminiscent of last year’s Miami Heat.
- Rex Grossman (Redskins backup QB) predicts that the Redskins will win the NFC East despite the fact that he can’t even win a starting QB role from little-known Beck.
- Michael Vick may have lost some street cred when he admitted that he made an “emotional” response on twitter towards Cowboys DC Rob Ryan after Vick assumed that Rob Ryan was talking about the Eagles when he mentioned an “All-Hype Team”. Vick assumed the role of “All-Hype” when Rob Ryan could’ve been mentioning his brother’s Jets. - Eli Manning, despite committing a combined total of 32 Turnovers compared to Tom Brady’s total of 7 last season, Manning still felt compelled to tell everyone that he is in the same class of QB as All-Time Great Tom Brady.
Since last season’s chances went quickly into the gutter, less attention can be nothing but good news for “America’s QB” and “media darling” Tony Romo. Although last season was abysmal for the Cowboys, all was not lost for Tony Romo as he watched Jon Kitna display good veteran leadership. So this Offseason “Tony Romo has stepped up in a big way in demanding of his players that they show up to player workouts that he and other vets have started.”(Zaldivar-Bleacher Report 2011). “Nobody had to go out and do the OTA’s or anything like that, but Romo took on that leadership role and said, ‘Guys, we’ve got to get together’, only one guy has really taken on that role of doing all that and that was Romo.” (D.Ware).
With the return of Doug Free this Offseason and several O-Line Rookie signings, Romo can be rest-assured that he will be protected much better than last season. A healthy Dez Bryant returning for the Cowboys and the overall change of attitude brought on by 2nd year HC Jason Garrett and the signing of the self proclaimed “defensive guru” Rob Ryan as the new DC has me drinking Cowboy Kool-Aid once again.
I, Clinton Craig Guajardo would like to officially predict that the Dallas Cowboys WILL win the NFC-East and at least 2 Playoff games this season and you can take that to the bank.

Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Mike Vick admitted Friday that Rob Ryan’s comments from earlier in the week made him mad. The superstar athlete was offended by what he interpreted as the Cowboys defensive coordinator taking a shot at his team.
“I was mad about that,” Vick said during an interview on Philadelphia’s 97.5 The Fanatic (WPEN-FM). “Sometimes my emotions do come into play and I felt like that was inappropriate. But he’s going to have to deal with us. And he’s going to have to find solutions just like everybody else.”
Vick declared that he and his Philadelphia teammates don’t talk, instead, they go about their business the right way.
“Maybe we’ll make him eat his words,” Vick said. “I hope he backs it up.”
Ryan’s comments even led to Vick doing something he says he normally doesn’t do — use Twitter to respond.

So, basically Vick got EMOTIONAL and went to twitter to express his anger.

Thanks again for posting, you are entitled to your opinion same as me. You may think my prediction is baseless but time will tell. By the way only very few bloggers or journalist actually have “insider” access. However there are at least 100 or more well known Dallas Cowboy writers.Knowledge comes from reading and watching as many clips as I can. For example, ESPN finds out much of their info from Adam Schefter, why would I be wrong to do the same? Let’s not keep going back and forth their will be plenty of time to argue later in the season. I look forward to it and only time will tell if my prediction was right.
